According to the customs statistics newsletter data, in June 2023, my country imported 6.12 million tons of steel products, a decrease of 190,000 tons or 3.0% from the previous month; the average price was US$16,614/ton,The chain fell by 75.8 US dollars / ton, a drop of 44%. From January to June, the cumulative import of steel products was 374110,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.029 million tons, a drop of 35.2%.
In June 2023, my country imported 955.18 million tons of iron ore, a decrease of 6.57 million tons or 0.7% from the previous month; the average price was US$106.7/ton, a decrease of US$10.2 per ton from the previous month tons, down 8.7%. From January to June, the cumulative import of iron ore was 576.135 million tons, a year-on-year increase 41.029 million tons, an increase of 7.7%.
In June 2023, my country exported 75.08 million tons of steel products, a month-on-month decrease of 8.48 million tons, or 10.1%, ending five consecutive month-on-month increases; the average price was US$892.4/ton, a month-on-month decrease of US$29.9/ton, or 32%. From January to June, the cumulative export of steel products was 43583 tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.391 million tons, an increase of 31.3%.
